TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a FIRE SAFETY ADVISOR for a Edmonton area-based opportunity to work in in and operation plant environment.
Job Description:
- Verify building fire equipment to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and provide recommendations for improvement as required
- Create floor plans for fire equipment and protocols for buildings
- Stay updated on changes in fire safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure effective inspections and recommendations
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in fire safety or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations in an Industrial setting
- Relevant certification or diploma in Fire Safety or a related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, MS Word, etc.)
- Excellent observational and analytical skills for assessing fire safety systems and identifying recommendations
- Ability to stay current with evolving fire safety regulations, industry practices, and technology advancements
- Exposure to drafting/designing ideal
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
