Administrator (Fire & Protection)

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a FIRE & PROTECTION ADMINISTRATOR for a Vanscoy area-based opportunity in an industrial plant environment.

Job Description:

• Welcome and greet with a professional and polished manner, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Perform Switchboard management of high-volume calls
  Notify company contact of arrival of visitors
• Maintain security by following procedures; issuing guest and temporary access cards; reporting suspicious individuals to security
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Send/receive intown courier packages and deliveries including invoice reconciliation and payment
• Drive company vehicle to pick up mail
• Perform exceptional communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Handle weekly ordering of office and beverage supplies
• Participate in Emergency and Evacuation Procedures

Job Requirements:

• 2+ year experience in a similar role
• Minimum level of First Aid, Class B Attendant (Medical First Aide-2) required
• Valid drivers license
• General Mine Safety Awareness (GMSA) required
• WHMIS required
• Required to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, SAP an asset
• Have excellent Customer Service skills; Comfortable dealing with all levels of employees and the general public
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
• Must be a team player with solid communication skills both written and verbal
