TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting a FINANCIAL ANALYST for an opportunity in the Greater Medicine Hat Area in an Operating Plant environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of improvements in financial systems, processes and practices to manage capital and operating cost management for our client through analysis and review
- Support the direction of financial, accounting, purchasing, and inventory information into our client’s system
- Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements
- Assist in preparation of consolidated reporting packages, along with necessary analysis, to senior management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist with the yearly budget process
- Help establish and improve finance reporting requirements
- Assist our clients organization with data analysis to drive process improvements in AP/AR and Inventory Management
- Provide financial expertise, recommendations, and leadership to the extended team
- Provides informal support and training to others regarding financial modeling processes as required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience required
- Oracle, Maximo and Atom software experience required
- CPA or CMA is an asset
- Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
- Experience with Cost Accounting is an asset
- Proven track record of achievement of financial performance improvement and results
- Technically strong with an aptitude to recognize how external developments may impact the business
- Confident and articulate communicator
